We Were Helpless
We were helpless. Dead in our sins, broken, and unable to save ourselves—that's where we all were. But the good news is that at just the right time, Christ stepped in. While we were still sinners, He died for us.
The Gospel is not just a story; it is the most powerful truth ever told. Jesus, the perfect sacrifice, took our place on the cross, paying a debt we could never afford. He did this for you, for me, for all who call upon His name. He took our punishment so that we might be free—free from the bondage of sin, free from anxiety, addiction, and despair.
The beauty of this Gospel is that we don't come to Jesus perfect. We come as we are—broken, lost, addicted, confused—and in Him, we find true freedom. It’s not by our works or deeds, but by faith in Jesus that we are saved. His love is greater than our sins, and His sacrifice is proof of that love.
If you haven’t yet embraced this truth, know that He chose you before the foundation of the world. Jesus paid it all, and all He asks in return is for you to come to Him, just as you are. There is no sin too great, no heart too lost that He cannot save. In Christ, we find hope, healing, and a life made new.
Take that step toward Him. Find freedom. Remember, He paid it all so we could live free.
